Jake and Renee met way back when at a Billerica High School party. He, a few years older, showed up with some friends. She, got ready at the hosts house not knowing the crowd that would come. That night, Renee asked "who's he?" and quoted "he's going to be my husband" after seeing Jake across the bonfire. It's blurry on who made the first introduction that night, but they did not get married, unfortunately. Time passed, and they continued their on and off communication with each other but ultimately, nothing progressed as they were on different paths. Years later, after experiencing life on their own, a small social media click by Renee brought them back together in 2018. Jake told one of his groomsmen Joe, "I am going to make her my wife" when he got the rekindling connect on Facebook. To anyone who knows Jake, knows he means business. The two have spent nothing but all their time together since then.

"If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours."
